Join us on Tuesday, October 21st, for an optional day of TAC Tours to visit four centres in Quebec and enjoy a networking lunch. Participants will take a shuttle bus to visit and learn more about the following TACs:

Founded in 2008, the Centre for Digital Imaging and Interactive Media (CIMMI) is a Collegial Centre for Technology Transfer (CCTT), incorporated as a Non-Profit Organization (NPO). Its mission is to support innovation within Canadian organizations offering applied research services. Our services range from technical consultancy to delivering complete technical solutions. CIMMI rents hardware for virtual and augmented reality, 3D scanning, and 360-degree 3D shooting through our LabMedia 3D.

CERFO’s mission is to contribute, in a sustainable development perspective, to the technological advancement and growth of organizations and college-level educational institutions in Québec's forestry sector. The centre operates in the field of forestry, specifically in applied research in forestry, supplying plants, issues with wood production, ecosystem-based forest management, climate change, invasive alien species, wildlife management, remote sensing in forestry and agroforestry.

CRVI’s mission is to harness the potential of AI, computer vision and industrial, collaborative, mobile and advanced
robotics to give companies a competitive edge. It is an integral part of Quebec’s innovation system and a key player in Quebec’s efforts to implement advanced technologies.

TransBIOTech, Cégep de Lévis

TransBIOTech is a Collegial Center of Technology Transfer (CCTT) created in 1999. The centre supports innovation in life sciences companies by providing access to biotechnology expertise, while contributing to training and knowledge transfer. Since 2002, with contributions from the Quebec government and the Canada Foundation for Innovation, TransBIOTech has built a cutting-edge research complex that complies with Health Canada's standards for biosafety level 2.

The Forum - October 22 and 23, 2025
The Forum is bringing together over 125 applied research leaders from Technology Access Centres (TACs), college centres for the transfer of technology and innovative social practices (CCTTs), as well as colleges and cégeps across Canada to network and exchange insights, foster the building of new connections and research partnerships, and help elevate applied research results across the nation.
Sessions will share best practices, candid advice and tangible takeaways to help participants advance their research operations. Presenters will engage attendees in group dialogue to explore a range of TAC practices and processes, and identify unique solutions to research challenges.
Participants will experience an interactive environment where they can learn and discuss keys to success in business operations, team management, developing proposals, and more.
